Wildflower seeds are readily available in bulk at large garden centers and nurseries.
For every square foot you need approximately fifty seeds. If you have a small area to seed, buy a small can, but for large areas, wildflower seeds are available in bulk. Make sure that whatever you plant requires no regular maintenance if it is a steep slope.
Shady Slopes

Instead, consider shade-loving ferns, perennials and low growing vines.
