A Great Selection of Pink Roses

from: Lawn and Garden Magic

Pink roses are beautiful as well as unique and can add a lot to your garden. You can get them in lots of varieties, from pale colors to dark colors to electric. Some varieties bloom just once each season and others that bloom in an ongoing cycle from early spring to late fall (until winter frost forces them to go dormant).

This is a list of ten of the most beautiful pink roses, all of which have repeated blooms and are good to go for a range of hardiness zones. This group of roses go from slight fragrance to very fragrant, but whichever one you choose, it'll definitely make your garden even more gorgeous.

Dark Pink Roses:

Country Dancer

These roses were introduced in 1973. They're a beautiful dark pink variety that grows on shrubs and are excellent choices as an accent plant or hedge. Country Dancers are continuous bloomers so your plant should always have flowers, never looking barren from spring straight through to autumn. This rose is quite fragrant but not overwhelming and grows well in zones 4 - 9.

Mme. Isaac Pereire

This popular rose is over 100 years old and from a very famous Bourbon class. It's dark pink in color with a slight purple tint. As the bloom ages, the purple tint gets even more noticeable, which adds some drama to this bloom. The canes are known for their length, and can be grown as a climber, a pillar, or even a kind of shrub. The Mme. Isaac Pereire is quite versatile and is a repeating bloom for hardiness zones 5 - 10.

American Beauty

American Beauty is a classic dark pink rose that's very fragrant and blooms repeatedly. It's class is hybrid perpetual and its large, classic look makes it one of the most loved of roses. It grows best in zones 5 - 9.

Martha’s Vineyard

This is a recent flower, developed in 1995. Martha’s Vineyard is a beautiful shrub well adapted for hardiness zones 8 - 9. If you love to be surrounded in your home by sensual plants, this is a gret choice due to it's wonderful fragrance. Its repeating blooms means you'll have flowers more than once during each growing season.

Robin Hood

This rose is a continuous bloomer and a slightly fragrant hybrid musk variety. Though it's not as adaptable as other types (zones 6 - 9), it provides a good range and can be grafted onto the roots of plants suited for other growing conditions.

Light Pink Roses:

Bloomfield Abundance

Bloomfield Abundance is quite a nice floribunda class rose with continuous blooms. Developed in 1920, it's a very fragrant rose. Bloomfield Abundance gets its name from its abundant blossoms that can grow quite well in a variety of settings. Its hardiness zones are 5 - 9.

Cecile Brunner

You'll love this beautiful light pink rose. It's in the polyanthus class, is moderately fragrant and was developed in 1881. Its frangrance is quite lovely but almost subtle and uplifting but not overwhelming. It's a blooms continuously and thrives in zones 4 - 9.

New Dawn

This is a fragrant flower in the large flowered climber class, and it's very much suited for trellis and archways. It will also spruce up gazebos and pergolas, and repeat blooms for the entire growing season. The New Dawn can adapts to various landscapes, and grows well in hardiness zones 5 - 9.

Pink Rosette

Pink Rosettes were developed in 1948 and are delicate, light pink flower in the floribunda class with only a slight fragrance. However, it's a repeating bloom that will show up in your garden at least twice each season. It hardiness zones are 5 - 9.
